easy to use1outages1

Is moving away from Heroku because its 2 GB memory limit crashes the app when importing images or data, forcing manual splitting of work and dyno restarts.

“It's a bit of a stupid term because there are servers. So without Vercel or similar you just have to manage your own server in which case sort your own”

Hosts Next.js on Heroku with some pain, as usual with hosting, but nothing too complex; it has simple auto scaling and Docker or buildpack builds but lacks a cheap WAF.

“I’m hosting Next.js on Heroku - some pain involved - as usual with hosting - but nothing too complex :) I haven’t tried Vercel at all though”
mixedeasy to use

Spent longer than expected trying to get a Next.js app to compile on Heroku; it could not recognize import aliases or load Tailwind among other issues.

“I could not figure out how to get my nextjs app to properly compile on Heroku.”
